The international communist movement continues to remain in a process of differentiation. It is the consequences of the counter-revolution in the USSR and Eastern Europe, but also a continuation of modern revisionism and "Eurocommunism" as well as the invention and propagation of false ideas and goals such as "market socialism" or a capitalism transformed into a "society of solidarity", which are unfolding their negative effects in the ICM.
Added to this are revisionist ideas about the character of the bourgeois state and "left" participation in government, about revolutionary strategy, the role of the working class or the character of imperialism.
Some formerly or nominally communist parties have transformed themselves into social-democratic formations, while others participate in left-wing structures and opportunist alliances. Some of these have a downright anti-communist character, such as the "World Antiimperialist Platform". Not least against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine or in the assessment of the People's Republic of China, it has become clear that a relevant number of parties have abandoned communist positions, Marxist-Leninist theories and correct definitions of socialism. They carry not only opportunism, but also revisionism and reformism, and thus anti-Marxism, into the ICM. This is based not only on errors, but also on the deliberate influence of social democratic forces and state political actors who falsely present themselves as bastions of anti-imperialism, progress and liberation. In reality, however, they serve to reorganise the balance of power within the imperialist world system and to weaken the revolutionary communist forces for socialism.
Against this, it is all the more important that the truly communist parties, which stand on the firm ground of Marxism-Leninism, expand their co-operation and activities. Only the strengthening of the Marxist-Leninist pole in the international communist movement will lead to bringing the working class and the cause of the revolutionary class struggle for socialism back onto the offensive. This is the national task of every Marxist-Leninist party in its own country as well as of the parties at the international level.
In this sense, the Party of Labour of Austria declares:
- It is the task and the goal of the PdA to build and expand the party into the fully developed Marxist-Leninist party of the Austrian working class.
- It is the task and the goal of the PdA to actively fulfil its membership in the European Communist Action (ECA) and thereby strengthen the Marxist-Leninist pole in Europe.
- It is the task and the aim of the PdA to promote the co-operation of Marxist-Leninist forces outside the ECA and beyond Europe and to strengthen the Marxist-Leninist pole worldwide.
Den marxistisch-leninistischen Pol der internationalen kommunistischen Bewegung stärken!
Beschluss des 6. Parteitages der Partei der Arbeit Österreichs (PdA), Linz, 10. Februar 2024:
Die internationale kommunistische Bewegung befindet sich weiterhin in einem Differenzierungsprozess. Es sind Folgeerscheinung der Konterrevolution in der UdSSR und Osteuropa, aber auch ein Fortwirken des modernen Revisionismus und des „Eurokommunismus“ sowie der Erfindung und Propagierung falscher Ideen und Ziele wie des „Marktsozialismus“ oder eines zu einer „solidarischen Gesellschaft“ transformierten Kapitalismus, die ihr negatives Wirken in der IKB entfalten. Hinzu kommen revisionistische Vorstellungen über den Charakter des bürgerlichen Staates und „linke“ Regierungsbeteiligungen, über die revolutionäre Strategie, die Rolle der Arbeiterklasse oder das Wesen des Imperialismus.
Manche ehemals oder nominell kommunistische Parteien haben sich in sozialdemokratische Formationen verwandelt, andere nehmen an linksbeliebigen Strukturen und opportunistischen Bündnissen teil. Manche davon weisen einen geradezu antikommunistischen Charakter auf, so z.B. die „World Antiimperialist Plattform“. Nicht zuletzt vor dem Hintergrund des Ukrainekrieges oder in der Einschätzung der Volksrepublik China zeigte sich, dass sich eine relevante Anzahl an Parteien von kommunistischen Positionen, marxistisch-leninistischen Lehren und korrekten Sozialismusdefinitionen verabschiedet haben. Sie tragen nicht nur den Opportunismus, sondern auch Revisionismus und Reformismus, somit Antimarxismus in die IKB. Dies beruht nicht nur auf Irrtümern, sondern auch auf dem bewussten Einwirken sozialdemokratischer Kräfte und staatspolitischer Akteure, die sich fälschlich als Bastionen des Antiimperialismus, des Fortschritts und der Befreiung ausgeben. Doch in Wirklichkeit dienen sie einer Neuordnung der Kräfteverhältnisse innerhalb des imperialistischen Weltsystems und der Schwächung der revolutionären kommunistischen Kräfte für den Sozialismus.
Dem gegenüber ist es umso wichtiger, dass die wahrhaft kommunistischen Parteien, die auf dem festen Boden des Marxismus-Leninismus stehen, ihre Zusammenarbeit und ihre Aktivitäten ausweiten. Nur die Stärkung des marxistisch-leninistischen Pols in der internationalen kommunistischen Bewegung wird dazu führen, die Arbeiterklasse und die Sache des revolutionären Klassenkampfes für den Sozialismus wieder in die Offensive zu bringen. Dies ist sowohl die nationale Aufgabe jeder marxistisch-leninistischen Partei im eigenen Land als auch der Parteien auf internationaler Ebene.
In diesem Sinne erklärt die Partei der Arbeit Österreichs:
- Es ist die Aufgabe und das Ziel der PdA, die Partei zur vollentwickelten marxistisch-leninistischen Partei der österreichischen Arbeiterklasse auf- und auszubauen.
- Es ist die Aufgabe und das Ziel der PdA, ihre Mitgliedschaft in der Europäischen Kommunistischen Aktion (EKA) aktiv auszufüllen und dadurch den marxistisch-leninistischen Pol in Europa zu stärken.
- Es ist die Aufgabe und das Ziel der PdA, auch außerhalb der EKA sowie über Europa hinaus die Zusammenarbeit der marxistisch-leninistischen Kräfte zu forcieren und den marxistisch-leninistischen Pol weltweit zu stärken.
