Just as some 24 hours earlier it was denounced before the national and international public opinion, this action is aimed to usurp the acronym and the legal personality of the Communist Party of Venezuela.
"Today, this mercenary group went to the TSJ to request the designation of an ad hoc Board that will hand over the PCV to vulgar businessmen and political traffickers", denounced in a press statement the Secretary General of the Central Committee, Oscar Figuera.
"From the PCV we have decided to confront this anti-democratic maneuver in the political, juridical-legal and mass front, as well as nationally and internationally", affirmed Figuera.
The leader of the oldest political organization in the country, described the operators of the assault plan orchestrated by the Psuv as "some individuals whom history will throw to the dustbin" and warned: "they will have no possibility of vindicating themselves before our people, because with their behavior they have become mercenaries and political traffickers".
The PCV alerted the Supreme Court of Justice of this set-up and reiterated that "this group of mercenaries that do not belong to the PCV and, therefore, have no legal qualification to file legal actions before the Supreme Court of Justice on behalf of the party or its militants".
The spokesman who played the leading role in the "false positive" before the TSJ is named Henry Parra, who in 2021 publicly broke with the Communist Party of Venezuela to join the PSUV. The delegation was completed by a councilman of the Somos Venezuela party in the Obispos municipality, Robinson García; the Psuv official in the Monagas state governor's office, Griseldys Herrera and also a Psuv militant, Johan Coraspe.
"We hope that the Supreme Court of Justice will not be used in this anti-democratic maneuver", said Figuera.
"We tell the mercenaries that with their action they will not prevent the Communist Party of Venezuela from continuing to confront the neoliberal policies of the leadership of the Government-Psuv," warned the General Secretary after recalling that the PCV will maintain its consistent anti-imperialist stance.
"They will not prevent that the Communist Party continue promoting and accompanying the struggles of the working people of the city and the countryside and advancing the policy of broad unity of action, workers, trade union and popular to confront the onslaught of capital against the rights of the Venezuelan working people. They will not prevent the Communist Party from continuing in the streets, demanding sufficient salary to live with dignity; demanding respect for the right to union organization and the collective bargaining agreement; demanding respect for the democratic rights of the people", he added.
Figuera reiterated that the Communist Party will continue to fulfill the reason for its existence: "which is to fight to defeat the capitalist regime of exploitation and advance with the working class and the Venezuelan people in the construction of the new society based on scientific Socialism; not in improvisation, not in lies, not in cynicism, not in corruption, not in repression, not in negotiation with the sectors of capital, not in surrendering the interests of the country to imperialism".
"In that line will remain the Communist Party of Venezuela. In solidarity with the indigenous peoples; in solidarity with the peasant movements in struggle; in solidarity with the popular movement in resistance; in solidarity always with the struggle of the working class and the Venezuelan working people. The working class and the Venezuelan people can rest assured that they can continue to count -in whatever conditions- on the glorious Communist Party of Venezuela; the party that for 92 years has held high the banners of anti-imperialism and the banners of Socialism-Communism", he concluded.
Minimum chronology of the intervention of the PCV
At the end of 2021, the vice-president of the Psuv, Diosdado Cabello, begins to use his TV program to promote the matrix of a supposed division in the ranks of the PCV.
Cabello assured that he received letters in which communist militants supported the anti-popular turn of the Government and its pact with the right wing opposition.
This escalation of aggressions intensified after the successful 16th National Congress of the PCV (November 2022), when the highest leadership body of the Venezuelan communists ratified the line of confrontation and dissociation with respect to the neoliberal policies of the Government of Nicolás Maduro.
In view of the cohesion and internal unity of the PCV, as of February of this year, the PSUV leadership opted to disguise its militancy and hired people with clothes and symbols of the PCV to convince the public opinion that there was discontent in what they called "PCV rank and file".
The actors of this show have traveled the country to carry out "assemblies" financed with State resources and pave the way for the intervention of the oldest political party in the country.

Mercenarios al servicio del Psuv solicitan al TSJ intervención del Partido Comunista de Venezuela
Caracas, 10-07-2023 (Prensa PCV).- El Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (Psuv) ha avanzado a una nueva fase de la agresión contra el Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV). Este lunes 10 de julio, un grupo de mercenarios al servicio del Psuv solicitó ante el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia (TSJ) la intervención judicial del partido del Gallo Rojo.
Tal y como unas 24 horas antes se denunció ante la opinión pública nacional e internacional, esta acción tiene como objetivo usurpar las siglas y la personalidad jurídica del Partido Comunista de Venezuela.
“Hoy, este grupo mercenario acudió al TSJ a solicitar el nombramiento de una Junta ad hoc que le entregue el PCV a vulgares negociantes y traficantes de la política”, denunció en una declaración de prensa el Secretario General del Comité Central, Oscar Figuera.
“Desde el PCV hemos decidido enfrentar esta maniobra antidemocrática en lo político, en lo jurídico-legal y en el frente de masas, así como en lo nacional y en lo internacional”, afirmó Figuera.
El dirigente de la organización política más antigua del país, se describió a los operadores del plan de asalto orquestado por el Psuv como “unos individuos a quienes la historia lanzará al basurero” y advirtió: “no tendrán posibilidad de reivindicarse ante nuestro pueblo, porque con su conducta se han convertido en mercenarios y traficantes de la política”.
El PCV alertó al Tribunal Supremo de Justicia de este montaje y reiteró que “este grupo de mercenarios que no militan en el PCV y, por tanto, no tienen ninguna cualidad jurídica para interponer acciones legales ante el TSJ en nombre del partido o de militantes”.
El portavoz que protagonizó el “falso positivo” ante el TSJ se llama Henry Parra, quien en 2021 rompió públicamente con el Partido Comunista de Venezuela para unirse al PSUV. La comitiva la completaron un concejal del partido Somos Venezuela en el municipio Obispos, Robinson García; la funcionaria del Psuv en la gobernación del estado Monagas, Griseldys Herrera y el también militante del Psuv, Johan Coraspe.
“Esperamos que el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia no sea utilizado en esta maniobra antidemocrática”, dijo Figuera.
“Le decimos a los mercenarios que con su acción no impedirán que el Partido Comunista de Venezuela continúe enfrentando la política neoliberal de la cúpula del Gobierno-Psuv”, advirtió el Secretario General tras recordar que el PCV mantendrá su consecuente postura antiimperialista.
“Nos impedirán que el Partido Comunista continúe impulsando y acompañando las luchas del pueblo trabajador de la ciudad y el campo y adelantando la política de amplia unidad de acción, obrera, sindical y popular para enfrentar la arremetida del capital contra los derechos del pueblo trabajador venezolano. No impedirán que el Partido Comunista siga en la calle, demandando salario suficiente para vivir dignamente; exigiendo respeto al derecho a la organización sindical y a la convención colectiva; exigiendo respeto a los derechos democráticos del pueblo”, agregó.
Figuera reiteró que el Partido Comunista continuará cumpliendo la razón de su existencia: “que es luchar por derrotar el régimen capitalista de explotación y avanzar con la clase trabajadora y el pueblo venezolano en la construcción de la nueva sociedad sustentada en el Socialismo científico; no en la improvisación, no en la mentira, no en el cinismo, no en la corrupción, no en la represión, no en la negociación con los sectores del capital, no es la entrega de los intereses del país al imperialismo”.
“En esa línea se mantendrá el Partido Comunista de Venezuela. Solidario con los pueblos indígenas; solidario con los movimientos campesinos en lucha; solidario con el movimiento popular en resistencia; solidario siempre con la lucha de la clase obrera y del pueblo trabajador venezolano. La clase trabajadora y el pueblo venezolano puede tener la seguridad de que sigue contando -en las condiciones que sean- con el glorioso Partido Comunista de Venezuela; el partido que durante 92 años ha mantenido en alto las banderas del antiimperialismo y las banderas del Socialismo-Comunismo”, concluyó.
Cronología mínima de la intervención del PCV
A finales de 2021, el vicepresidente del Psuv, Diosdado Cabello, comienza a usar su programa de televisión para promover la matriz de una supuesta división en las filas del PCV.
Cabello aseguraba que recibía cartas en las que militantes comunistas apoyaban el viraje antipopular del Gobierno y su pacto con la oposición de derecha.
Esta escalada de agresiones arreció luego del exitoso 16° Congreso Nacional del PCV (noviembre de 2022) cuando la máxima instancia de dirección de las y los comunistas venezolanos ratificó la línea de confrontación y deslinde con respecto a la política neolibral del Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro.
Ante la cohesión y unidad interna del PCV, a partir de febrero de este año, la cúpula del PSUV optó por disfrazar a su militancia y a personas contratadas con indumentaria y símbolos del Gallo Rojo para hacer creer a la opinión pública que había descontento en lo que denominaron “bases del PCV”.
Los actores de esta comparsa han recorrido el país para desarrollar “asambleas” financiadas con recursos del Estado y allanar el camino a la intervención del partido político más antiguo del país.
