The Palestinian People's Party has issued a statement denouncing the visit of the parliamentary leader of the German party "Die Linke" in Israeli settlement near Gaza.
More specifically, the statement strongly condemns the visit of the leader of the German Left Party (Die Linke), , in one of the settlements near the Gaza Strip, where he planted trees and expressed his solidarity.
According to the Palestinian People's Party, the visit of Bartsch took place within the framework of cooperation with the zionist organization "Keren Kayemet" (Jewish National Fund), known for its great responsibility in the policy of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians, including the forceful expulsion of them from their lands, homes, villages and cities.
In its statement, the Palestinian People's Party demands from the leadership of "Die Linke" to apologize to the palestinian people for the visit and participation of its MP in such activities which support the occupation. The statement also asks from the German Party to take immediate action and remove Bartsch from his position.
